Lily came to me from Arkansas as a young rescue. Her sweetness, bright spirit, and intelligence earned her an easy place among the Best Dogs in the World. Always an active, energetic girl, she continued to approach life with her buoyant positive attitude when, at age 11, she lost the use of her back legs due to a degenerative spinal condition. I like to think that she romps 4-legged once again, with grass between her toes, wherever she is.
