Miss Ida has been with me for 2 years. Her exact origins are unknown, we are her fourth home. She was dumped on a farm in Virginia and she lived there until the owner survived a workplace shooting. He sold the farm and Ida went to live with his sister in Pennsylvania. They lived on a busy road and Ida was at risk of being killed by a car so she was posted on a rescue site where we fell in love.
It took her awhile to bond with us. Lots of special attention, truck rides without the other two dogs and a little McDonald's. She is my girl and we are buddies. She's coming with me when I go to the redwoods this June so we can have one on one time. I can't wait. She is a blast to be with.
